Starters

Can introduce themselves and describe simple objects.

The Starters course is the first step in the prestigious Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) journey. Designed for children who are ready to move beyond single words to simple sentences, this course covers the Pre-A1 level.

Students learn to answer basic questions about themselves, their school, and their favourite toys in a highly interactive environment designed to build confidence and speaking fluency from an early age.

Listening to audio and drawing lines from names to people in a picture, or coloring specific objects.

Reading

Can recognise familiar words and short sentences.

Example Task
Reading a short, simple sentence and matching it to the correct picture.

Writing

Can write simple words and basic sentences.

Example Task
Looking at a picture and writing "yes" or "no" next to simple statements.
